It is not yet 24 hours since the launch of the Russian offensive on Ukraine, but the longer it lasts, the greater the losses for Vladimir Putin, and the Russian President knows this.
For this reason, the official Kremlin issued a statement stating that it was ready to stop the entire offensive and withdraw troops if Ukraine accepted the status of a neutral and demilitarized state.
But in Kiev this statement by Moscow was read as part of Russian propaganda to create the impression that it has the situation under control, but that this is not the case.
The Ukrainian military says Putin's Hitler's "blitzkreig" strategy has failed and Russian troops are retreating east and north. Kiev claims to have inflicted heavy losses on Russia on the eastern front, where it says it has repelled four attacks on the line of contact in Donetsk and Luhansk, inflicting heavy losses on the Russians.
The same is reported in the north.
"Russia's blitzkreig strategy failed! "Stay strong and we will win," said the Chief of Staff of the Ukrainian Army through social media channels.
The "Blitzkreig" doctrine was implemented by Hitler during World War II. Its purpose was to strike concentrated troops, materials, tanks and air forces, creating a numerical advantage over the enemy, to demoralize him and spread panic in his ranks.
But if Russia overtakes tanks, aircraft and other artillery systems in Ukraine, it lacks the numerical advantage of troops on the ground, and this, according to experts, is causing it huge losses where in just a few hours there is talk of at least 70 tanks, planes, helicopters and armored vehicles destroyed by the Ukrainian army.
