Bill Gates, one of the richest people in the world, has been hit by Covid-19. It's the American billionaire himself who says he came out positive and has mild symptoms of the virus.

According to foreign media reports, the 66-year-old was isolated at home and is also vaccinated. It is not clear if this is the first time he has tested positive for coronavirus, when the virus is more than two years old since its first appearance.

" I have been positive with Covid. "I have mild symptoms and I am following the advice of experts, isolating myself until I am healthy again," he wrote on Twitter.

In recent months Bill Gates, a Microsoft co-founder and one of the richest people in the world, has put most of his fortune in the service of the Coid pandemic, to end it as soon as possible.

He published a book last week called "How to Prevent the Future Pandemic," in which he explains how countries can make a concerted effort to avoid pandemics and "eliminate all respiratory diseases."
