She set her father on fire, the 43-year-old's testimony comes to light: We

New details have emerged from the serious incident that occurred three days ago in Dibër, where 43-year-old Majlinda Mara doused her father with gasoline and then set him on fire, who suffered severe burns to his body and is receiving treatment in Tirana.

In her testimony before investigators, Majlinda Mara is reported to have stated that the incident occurred due to constant arguments with her father. She explained the dynamics of the incident, revealing that she waited until her father lay down to sleep, and when the latter fell asleep, she doused him with gasoline, set him on fire, and left the room.  

Due to the incident, 89-year-old Adem Mara suffered severe burns to his body, and it is reported that he is in critical condition.

The serious case was reported to the Burreli police by neighbors who provided first aid. The Burreli criminal police have launched an investigation into this serious incident, arresting the 43-year-old daughter of the injured person, Adem Mara.

It is learned that Majlinda Mara has already been charged with attempted "Murder due to family reasons." It is currently reported that the prosecution is continuing its investigations, while the 43-year-old is expected to appear in court to face the security measure.
