View from the ceremony

The 79th anniversary of the Partisan Çeta "Ismail Qemali", founded in Karbunar of Vlora, was commemorated. At the "Petro Marko" Theater in the city of Vlora.

The President of the Association "LABËRIA" Ago Nezha, I consider as very important this activity. He described the Anti-Fascist National Liberation War and its Martyrs as glorious.

"Vlora is a model example of all government officials, who follow all patriotic activities, in an excellent way, that this phenomenon does not happen in any city of the country, as it happens in Vlora."

The organizer of this event, Engjëllush Avdulaj, in his speech said that the evaluation of history, of boys and girls who gave their lives or were injured to bring freedom, is a sacred obligation.

Avdulaj also gave the message that our generation has a great obligation to pass on the history relay to young people, to our children.

"History cannot be forgotten. Enemies and invaders never disappear as you see today on the borders of Europe! Therefore, we are determined to make history, because that way we have a secure future. Fascism is not dead, unfortunately it already takes various forms. In an Albania that has been open to the world in these 30 years, some values have faded and distance has done its job. Years ago I left my beloved Karbunari, I left to become one of the military of this country and then I followed the school and academic path as an athlete and a member of the security forces of the Republic. But I never forgot my village, my area, tradition and history. The appreciation of our history, of those boys and girls who gave their lives, others who were wounded and others who fought until the moment they brought freedom, it is a sacred obligation for us. And we can not fail to appreciate our Government, whose representatives we have here today, because it is clear their appreciation and respect in this regard. An old labe saying: "A rootless plantain is blown away!"

In the activity held at the Theater "Petro Marko" where left and right joined, on the 79th anniversary of the Partisan Çeta "Ismail Qemeali" participated family members and other descendants of the Martyrs.
