Alibeaj's lawsuit in the Constitutional Court as an indication of

The lawsuit in the Constitutional Court of the Price Board by the Democratic Party parliamentary group indirectly showed that Sali Berisha is far from getting the majority in this group and the chances are that he will pass this parliamentary session as "expelled".

In this initiative, Alibeaj has secured 29 of the 44 deputies who are officially part of the parliamentary group of the Democratic Party. Among the signatories are names like Ervin Salianji, Grida Duma, but also Lulzim Basha.

However, the sending of the board to the Constitutional Court does not mean a priori that the signatories of the document are supporters of Lulzim Basha, but based on Berisha's softened attitudes towards this board, it cannot be said that they support Berisha.

Berisha has rarely attacked this board, describing it as 'communist'.

"Boards have long been denounced as institutions of our communist past. These boards are like leeches that drink their blood and put the citizens into depression with stratospheric prices", declared Berisha in a plenary session at the beginning of June.

Ironically, the same term for boards was used by Edi Rama, even in the same plenary session.

"The board is communist and in the conditions of this crisis it is a psychological and financial help, because the state cannot intervene and control prices by force. The board has a merit to set the ceiling price and then calculate it with pencil and paper", he said.
