Belinda Balluk's tip to save energy: Wash infrequently
Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Energy, Belinda Balluku

We are not sure if Belinda Balluku washes her clothes in the washing machine herself, or if she has employees who do this work for her. But we are sure that the Minister of Energy has found the solution on how to save energy: for Albanians to wash their clothes at 30 degrees, or the best at all... not to wash them at all.

This is the advice that Balluku has distributed through social networks, asking citizens to save electricity, as a change for the mismanagement of the Drini Cascade, according to a recent investigation carried out by journalists.

There are calls and proposals for saving everywhere in Europe, as a reaction to the increase in energy prices. But, in Italy as an example, the teaching week in schools has been proposed not with 5, but with four days, and there is also a proposal to shorten the working days in the administration.

In Germany, a study found that Germans are washing less often to save energy, without having to be told how often to wash clothes, or how often to wash themselves.

In order not to go to the countries of the EU, the countries of the region have called for savings, they have also started restrictions on electricity, such as North Macedonia and Kosovo, but the Minister of Energy has hardly come out to show the citizens how much wash clothes.

You simply cannot tell a mechanic, construction worker, or other Albanians who are not lucky enough to work from the comfort of an air-conditioned office like Belinda Balluku, to remove the stains of their daily work at 30 degrees.

This saving instruction, in the first place, should originate from the Government itself, where Balluku is a deputy, starting first from the costs of road tenders, or even the good management of the Drin Cascade.

Because, with this rate of advice, the time will come when Minister Balluku can suggest us to bathe less often, or to stay at home with the lights of the phones on.
