Chaos in the cadastre of Durrës has deepened after the appointment of Xhengi Agolli as its head. The latter was accused when she took office at the end of last year of dismissing specialists to get closer to her people, political militants and nepotistic hires.
Outcome? Today, the stock of files waiting at the Durrës Cadastre has expanded, as well as the stock of citizens' complaints, both at the official official address of the cadastre, and at the anti-corruption platforms of the Government, such as shpljaëriaqëduam.al
There are dozens of new complaints that have been filed in the last three months of the cadastre activity, which coincide with the period that this institution addressed to Xheni Agollit. The term of the latter's temporary appointment expired on Monday, March 27.
Despite the short period in this position, Agolli has left a mark, but unfortunately. Surveys conducted with the citizens of Durrës show a total dissatisfaction with her work. Citizens accuse that since her arrival at the head of the Cadastre, the activity of this institution was totally blocked.
Citizens also accuse of arrogance, incompetence and corruption in the ranks of the Cadastre. They say that even the legal head of the Cadastre surrendered before this situation, giving rights to the citizens for the claims and documentation they submit.
However, she says that it is not their documents that are the problem, but the soldiers of Kap Ça te Kapësh, who, as the citizens of Durrës denounce, are checking the Durres Cadastre today with Xheni Agolli in charge.
Among the accusations, there are also claims that Agolli stays locked in her office with an ardent supporter of Sali Berisha and in confidential conversations they call the current government the "devil's government". Concerns have been raised in the General Directorate, the Prime Minister of the country and the Minister of Justice.
