Note: After trying to quietly pass the scandal denounced by the File Authority, according to which Ilir Meta has a voluminous 140-page file on former State Security, former head of the LSI, now chairman of the Freedom Party reacted.

Officially he called a press conference to introduce the names of four Freedom Party leaders, but unofficially knew he would be asked about the Authority dossier and this time did not evade the question.

Many could expect Ilir Meta to give another protection, but he decided to surprise everyone by making the alibi he had thought of. He initially said that the Authority manipulated, criminalized and fabricated the dossier, to close the file, saying that "the Senior I.M. politician the File Authority is talking about is not Ilir Meta, even asking the Authority to find out who it is".

Whose file manipulated, criminalized the File Authority and where is it aware of this manipulation, its criminalization of the former President, if the I.M. the Authority is talking about is not him?

This is the first question that required answers. But instead of answering this question, Ilir Meta released Silva Caka, spokeswoman for the Freedom Party, about two hours later, who also reinforced the second position, so that Ilir Meta is not Ilir Meta.

The other detail from meta's tense conference with open arms over the new party's verb relates to his years as a student at the Faculty of Economics. Meta said he was Secretary of Youth at this faculty when he was in his second year of school because of the good grades and qualities of the leader he had displayed since then.

It is about the years when the regime was gradually giving soul, people in Tirana, especially students were challenging and not obeying them more and more. For these reasons, keeping the posts of Youth Secretaries in universities was no longer a "promotion" liked by them, even refused en masse.

To solve this problem, confessions made by the protagonists of student protests after the collapse of the regime have claimed that state security activity among students had increased significantly, especially after the collapse of the Berlin Wall in 1989. Ilir Meta started the Faculty of Economics this year and a year later was appointed Youth Secretary.

Of those who know how youth secretariats worked at the time, no one can believe that only as Youth Secretary, Ilir Meta did not cooperate with State Security, all the more so that Security was introduced widespread in every cell of the regime, punishing citizens for a word of mouth.

Thus was also punished f.T., the person who handed over to the File Authority the message with suspicions that he was spied on security by Ilir Meta, after expressing a desire to escape. This desire in those years has killed dozens in the country's land and sea borders.
