Leaving all the positions he held in government with many possibilities is only the beginning for Ahmetaj. The next step Edi Rama can take is his departure from the leader of The District of Vlora.

Because of this possible decision, according to Voxnews.al sources, is the deep division in which both the party branch and the group of deputies in this district are involved, who have incompatibility with the way of the direction of this branch by The Ahmetaj.

"There is a deep rift with MPs who communicate not only with the party, but neither with each other nor all because of The Ahmetaj's decisions," sources say.

These claims are confirmed under voice by local leaders, socialist party officials and members, Branch Vlora, even some of them ironically say that it took less than a year for The Ahmetaj to divide the Socialists as the first job achievement as district leader.

Ahmetaj was appointed ps district leader in September last year, replacing Damian Gjiknur in the post. He led the SP's campaign in the district for the April 25th elections, giving the Socialists 8 terms out of 13 in total.
