Former MP Halit Valteri has reacted to Ilir Meta's accusations. Valteri says that he had chosen not to react, but since the leader of the Freedom Party has accused him of connection with Vienna and the incinerators, he has decided to give him an answer.

The former deputy states that his denunciation came after 30 years that Meta did not give up the politician's chair by constantly stealing and manipulating the courts.

Among other things, he writes a sentence about a story that few people actually know first-hand, but the whole of Tirana knows by word of mouth.

"At least this time I told them that they won't be needed anymore, don't be hard-hearted like you did in 2011, when you hid millions of euros at Luan Pobrati's house and then went and got them back, the deceased left this life with they regretted not even 100 euros for the service rendered", writes Valteri in his reaction.

For those who do not know, we are bringing you a short version of this story that is actually a testimony to be considered by SPAK.

In 2010, when the late Dritan Prifti published the video with Ilir Meta, the Prosecutor's Office immediately started investigations and the event took on huge proportions.

Ilir Meta, in a panic that the physical control of his apartments was going to start, started to find places to hide the money he had at home.

He started the operation with his closest collaborators from that time Petrit Vasili and Spartak Braho.

This event that we are going to tell is one of the secrets that are in Baba Taku's "Black Bag", which is why Meta, even though he has run away from the party, never attacks him.

They took the money, which according to the evidence was about 30 million euros, and sent it to Luan Pobrati's house.

By the way, Luan Pobrati was the head of State Security for Universities and practically the first boss in the work that Ilir Meta did as a security associate.

After 1997, Pobrati worked as an adviser to Ilir Meta and is remembered as a "grandfather" by those who knew him.

Being of leftist beliefs and closely connected to the opposition of that time, Meta thought that Pobrat's house would be the last to be searched, even though he was an enemy of Berisha.

According to the testimony that Voxnews.al has, the money was taken to Pobrat even without his approval, and filled almost a room of the house.

The deceased lion did not leave the house for fear that someone would find out and the money that was not his could be stolen.

As ex-sigurims, he kept the secret from his wife and son. When the situation was calming down and there was no signal from Meta about when he would pick them up, he sent her a message that was actually half a joke and half a threat.

"Come on, get it by Saturday, or I'll throw it in the trash can."

The money was taken as it was taken from the hand that had knowledge, which were only four people, Ilir Meta, Monika Kryemadhi, Petrit Vasili and Spartak Braho.

In this case, Pobrat was a person who was chosen by Meta carefully, as he had calculated that no one would approach his house, even though it was modest near the Greek embassy. 

They took him without his approval, and he never spoke about the story, which was actually just a favor to an insurance associate who, 20-odd years later, had told him that a classmate wanted to escape from Albania.
