The hearing for the assignment of security measures for Leli Kaja, the administrator of the Elbasan incinerator, has been postponed.

No lawyer appeared at the hearing, including those primarily summoned by the court. A fine of 60 thousand lek was imposed on them. Friday, 09:00 is the deadline for the security measure or otherwise, Kaja will be released.

Kaja, who was arrested on October 5 on charges of passive corruption, was present at the hearing with Judge Bib Ndreca. He stated that he wants to be represented by a lawyer, despite being a lawyer himself.

Leli Kaja was arrested by BKH agents in flagrante delicto after allegedly demanding and receiving from the administrator of an economic operator the amount of 400,000 (four hundred thousand) lek, in the form of illegal gain, in exchange for not performing the duties assigned to him by law as administrator of the company "ECO-ELB" sh.a.

During the personal search of Leli Kaja, the amount of money was found and seized.
