The bill for the recognition of the professional qualifications of nurses, veterinarians, pharmacists and midwives in the context of the Central European Free Trade Agreement has been filed in the Parliament.

The proposal of this draft law comes within the framework of the expansion of the number of regulated professions related to the process of recognition, procedure, documentation for the recognition of professional qualifications and detailed rules for the pursuit of the profession, after the approval of the agreement on the recognition of professional qualifications of the professions others regulated such as that of doctors, dentists and architects, by the decision of the Council of Ministers, "On the approval of the agreement for the recognition of the professional qualifications of doctors, dentists and architects in the context of the Central European Free Trade Agreement".

This draft law is in full compliance with the political program of the Council of Ministers, which considers progress in the field of education as a precursor to social, economic and cultural development, as a factor of democratic consolidation and a fundamental part of the image of European Albania.

The agreement will realize the goal expressed in the political program of the Council of Ministers for the further development of education, the strengthening of regional cooperation and mutual understanding within the framework of the Berlin Process.

This agreement shall apply to natural persons, such as professionals of the issuing Party, who wish to pursue a regulated profession in a receiving Party, subject to harmonized minimum training conditions, whether self-employed or employed.
