Disappearance of Eglant Koç/Armand Shakaj suffers from a health problem, police notify hospitals

Tirana police have focused search operations to find Eglant Koç in the mountainous areas of the capital.

Sources from the investigation group indicate that checks are being carried out mainly in Pëllumbas and Qafë Mollë, two areas frequently visited by the suspected perpetrator, Armand Shakaj. The testimony of several residents of the Pëllumbas area, who have seen Shakaj's vehicle, has led the police to intensify checks in this area.

According to data from the TIMS system, the 41-year-old has not been found to have left the country's borders, which adds to strong suspicions that he is hiding inside.

The investigative team has learned that Armand Shakaj suffers from a health problem. For this reason, the blue uniforms have put the white shirts on standby, requesting the cooperation of public and private hospitals in case he presents himself for medical assistance.
