Gjirokastra police have arrested the owner of the "Glow" swimming pool complex, Ermal Koko, after the tragic incident in which a 15-year-old boy lost his life. The arrest was carried out as part of the investigation into the circumstances of the death of the minor in the swimming pool premises.

According to investigative sources, Koko is accused of the criminal offense of "Violation of occupational safety regulations", while the Prosecution is verifying whether the subject had met the safety requirements and the necessary measures for intervention in emergency cases.

Ermal Koko is the husband of the Deputy Mayor of Gjirokastra Municipality, Artiste Koko. Investigations are ongoing to fully clarify the responsibilities related to the serious incident.
