“First Day”

The names of 30 people arrested as part of the operation codenamed "First Day" that was undertaken yesterday (September 8) in the Elbasan region have been released.

During this operation, quantities of cocaine and cannabis, pistol and Kalashnikov firearms, shotguns, a significant amount of combat ammunition, electronic scales, knives, punch amplifiers, suspected smuggled cigarette packs, laptops, tablets, DVRs, vehicle license plates (Albanian and Belgian), amounts of money in euros, pounds, dollars, Swiss francs and 24 mobile phones were seized.

Official sources indicate that work continues to capture the 14 wanted citizens.

5 arrested in flagrante delicto for drugs, illegal possession of weapons, contraband goods:

Jokli Anastasi, 32 years old, for the criminal offense of "Production and sale of narcotics",

Arjan Topalli, 31 years old, for the criminal offenses of "Production and sale of narcotics", "Unlicensed possession and production of weapons, explosive weapons and ammunition", and "Storage and storage of contraband goods",

Vilson Dyrmyshi, 36 years old, for the criminal offense of "Unlicensed production and possession of hunting weapons";

Neritan Duzha, 43 years old, for the criminal offense of "Production and sale of narcotics"

Leonard Xhaferri, 50 years old, for the criminal offense of "Production and sale of narcotics";

Under investigation at large:

HD, 57 years old

The operation focused on targeting persons involved in the trafficking and distribution of narcotics in the territory of the Elbasan district , including the cities of Elbasan, Librazhd, Gramsh, Cërrik, Peqin, Belsh and Prrenjas .
