Shkodra was rocked by a mafia attack on Monday morning. Two people were killed and another was injured in the shooting.

It is suspected that the target of the attack was Erogen Vaso (Brajovic), who was injured and is currently in hospital.

The latter, in a reaction to VoxNews, expressed condolences to the families of his two friends who were killed in the attack.

In response, Erogen Vaso emphasizes that he has no connection to any criminal group that is being rumored in the media, while demanding that the motives for this serious tragic act be clarified as soon as possible!

I, Erogen Millan Vaso (Brajovic), make this reaction for the media and public opinion. In these difficult moments, not only for me, I express my heartfelt condolences to the families of my 2 friends who were together today in the morning in a cafe in the center of Shkodra. They were model citizens of Shkodra, family members respected by the entire community. The treacherous hand of a murderer took their lives today while we were together and for me personally it is a severe pain and a wound that does not heal! May they rest in peace with Mr. Armando and Geridoni! May God give strength to their families! I also wish a speedy recovery to the girl injured in this event. I completely distance myself from information that links my person with certain names and groups in Shkodra.

I am an entrepreneur in several businesses, some inherited from my father, also an entrepreneur until the end of his life, a former footballer for Shkodra and the Albanian national team.

I have been, due to family tradition, a former football player for the Vllaznia team, former President of the Terbuni football club in Puka. My family has had a history of political persecution before the 90s, but also years later because it represented the Montenegrin community in the Shkodra Region. In the interests of this community and Shkodra, I have served with integrity for several years as a member of the municipal council of my city, just as one of my close friends who lost his life today had served. I was informed at the hospital that the perpetrator has been detained and I hope that the motives for this serious tragic act will be clarified as soon as possible! As for other connections that are alluded to in the media, I clarify that the institutions of the law should be left to deal with these issues!
