The Ambassador of the United States in Tirana, Yuri Kim, held a meeting this Monday with the Chief of General Staff of the Albanian Armed Forces, General Arben Kingji.

The news was announced by the American embassy through a post on social networks, where the details of the meeting are disclosed.

It is learned that the meeting discussed a number of issues that center on cooperation between the two countries, such as the preparations for the large military exercise Defender Europe 2023.

They also discussed the response to the devastating floods in the north, with General Kingji expressing appreciation for the US contribution in training, equipment (including emergency vehicles and rafts) and other supplies.
