The suspected perpetrator of the incident

A serious incident was uncovered by the police this Tuesday in Durrës.

After investigations, the police identified, captured and arrested the perpetrator of the murder of 33-year-old Branko Shkoza, Majlind Habibi, as he is suspected of having intentionally pushed the 33-year-old into the canal.

H.SH. resident of neighborhood no. 15 Durrës, on 04.12.2024, reported to the Durrës Police Station that since 02.12.2024, his son, citizen B. Sh., 33 years old, had left the apartment and had lost contact with him.

Police services conducted intensive searches and on 05.12.2024, they made it possible to find the dead body.

An examination of the victim's body revealed no signs of violence, but an examination of the scene and other investigative actions led the investigation team to suspect that the incident was not accidental.

Following the investigative actions, it was documented with scientific evidence that the perpetrator, residing in neighborhood no. 15 Durrës, on 02.12.2024, after a conflict for weak motives, pushed and threw Shkoza from a bridge into the sewage canal, who lost his life as a result of the fall.

Based on the author's testimony and initial investigations, it is suspected that they were caught after the author claimed that the victim had harassed his wife. During the argument, he pushed her and threw her into the canal where she was later found dead. However, the motive for the incident is still unclear and work is underway to fully unravel it.
