Elbasan police have arrested a Peruvian citizen who was wanted four days ago, as part of Operation "Fee".

According to the blue uniforms, it is suspected that the 44-year-old, in collaboration with other people from Latin American countries, had adapted rented premises for prostitution, and by promoting themselves on online sites, they offered sexual relations in exchange for payment.

"Specialists of the Trafficking Investigation Section, in continuation of the work to apprehend wanted citizens, as well as as a result of the coordination of work and exchange of information with the Border Police services of the Hani i Hoti BCP, caught and detained the wanted Peruvian citizen JG, 44 years old, while attempting to leave Albania.

This citizen is suspected of having, in collaboration with other citizens from Latin American countries, adapted rented premises for prostitution, and by promoting themselves on online sites, offered sexual relations in exchange for payment," the police announced.

The procedural materials were passed to the Prosecutor's Office for further action.
