10 people were interrogated for 24 hours by the Vlora Police regarding the incident that happened the day before in the "Hajro Cakërri" neighborhood, where the builder Armando Meshau lost his life.

The persons in question were mainly eyewitnesses at the scene, who saw the conflict, but also family members of both the victim and the perpetrator.

The witnesses to the police have shown the course of the event in question, how the conflict started and how it developed, while the family members have testified to the police about the conflict over an apartment, whether they knew about it or not.

Asked by the police after the arrest, Rei Mete maintained the same attitude, telling the same version of the event. Mete said that there was no motive to kill him as they met by chance in the internet center, according to him, as both were going to print some documents.

Rei Mete also confesses that the victim, Armando Meshau, cursed and hit him when the conflict escalated.

Meta has also shown that he hit in self-defense as he claims that the 55-year-old man died from hitting the ground, or some furniture of the internet cafe, at the moment when he fell due to the punches. According to him, the death of the 55-year-old is claimed to be accidental.

On the other hand, sources from the Vlora police confirm that Rei Mete often hired a realtor for properties in Vlora. According to them, he was responsible on behalf of his mother, who is a member of the KLP, Nurihan Seiti Meta.

Mete demanded that for the property permits that were granted, or the settlement of agreements, he would also receive benefits. In this case, an agreement was made between the parties for a property, for which, after the agreement, Armando Meshau found an agreement with the third party. Mete claimed that the victim should give him an apartment despite the fact that he was not the person who resolved the conflict.

The security camera footage that has been seized and is available to the police will give an accurate version of the event. In relation to the film footage, the police continues to remain reserved and there is no official version for them or for the entire event in question.
