It has been a full year since the disappearance of Ervis Martinaj in Shijak, the man who lived between the gambling business and the world of organized crime.

Precisely on August 9, 2022, the 41-year-old lost contact with his social and family circle, which led to the fact that the day after, on August 10, his uncle Rakip Martinaj reported the case of losing contact with his nephew to the Laçi police.

Shijak keeps hidden the mystery of whether Ervis Martinaj is alive or they killed him.

"Ora News" has provided a video, where the man most wanted by the police, Ervis Martinaj, appears while swimming in the Patoku Lagoon in Laç.

In the video, Ervis Martinaj is clearly visible, as he makes arm movements and then dives into the waters of the Lagoon.

As he swims a few meters, he emerges urgently from the water, shouting: "... there are crabs...".


For a period of one year, the name of Ervis Martinaj has aroused curiosity, dividing the public opinion, the media and the police, between the mystery of whether he is alive or dead.

The prosecutor's office of Laçi and then that of Lezha have been conducting investigations for the charge of "Kidnapping and disappearance of a person" for 1 year.

But until this stage it has not been possible to find any evidence or signal about the fate of the man who lived between the world of gambling and Organized Crime.

The last people who accompanied Ervis Martinaj from Tirana to Durrës and vice versa, were his girlfriend Sadete Kokomani and the police officer, Jeton Lami.

The latter was arrested for "Abuse of duty" and then sentenced by the Lezha court to two years and 10 days in prison.

And although the Prosecutor's Office of Lezha, for the Martinaj case, is conducting investigations into the abduction and disappearance of the person, on the other hand, SPAK, within 1 year, has initiated 4 criminal proceedings against him, imposing 2 security measures "Arrest in prison".

Nga maji 2022 deri në korrik 2023, Ervis Martinaj është shpallur dy herë në kërkim nga SPAK, si person i implikuar në sigurimin e kushteve për të vrarë Endrit Doklen, Kleant Musabelliut dhe vrasjen e Gjin Boriçit në Shkodër.

Një masë tjetër është dhe inicimi i një hetimi pasuror, duke vendosur sekuestrimin e pasurive të biznesmenit dhe familjarëve të tij.

Ndërkohë një proces tjetër është iniciuar në SPAK pas dyshimeve të përfshirjes së tij në trafikun e kokainës nga Amerika Latine në Europë.

Njëherësh në prokurorinë e Lezhës, në shtator 2022 Martinaj rezulton të jetë marrë i pandehur së bashku me Nikolin Nikën, për "Heqjen e paligjshme të lirisë" ndaj 64-vjeçarit Nikoll Buna.

Por pas të gjitha këtyre dosjeve penale të lindura brenda 1 viti, Ervis Martinaj, nuk ka dhënë asnjë sinjal që ekziston.

Për fatin e tij është interesuar personalisht dhe kryeministri i vendit Edi Rama, i cili gjatë një takimi në Ministrinë e Brendshme, me krerët më të lartë të policisë, lëshoi ultimatumin se brenda 3 muaj policia duhet të kishte zbardhur enigmën.

"...është e papranueshme që me javë të tëra mëngjeset dhe darkat e shqiptarëve, ekran më ekran dhe faqe më faqe janë bërë si një "Big Brother" i kronikës së zezë. Jo u vra, jo s’u vra ai që ishte i shumëkërkuar nga drejtësia dhe çfarë nuk dëgjojnë njerëzit, lloj-lloj legjendash me luanë, me bamirësa, me oligarkë, shto ujë e shto miell si një serial absurd për një nga figurat më të zeza të botës së krimit shqiptar”, – u shpreh në 7 shtator 2022, Edi Rama.
