Santiago Malko and Leonard Duka

The Special Court has announced the verdict for the defendants and accused in connection with the murder of former police officer Santiago Malko, an event that occurred in 2019.

The Criminal Court has sentenced Leonard Duka to 30 years in prison.

Meanwhile, the court declared his brother, Erlis Duka, innocent. It decided to lift the security measure against him for other episodes for which he was accused.

Meanwhile, Fatmir Hyseni has been sentenced to 25 years in prison, while Aleksandër Maxhaku has been sentenced to 25 years in prison.

Oltian Logaj is sentenced to 25 years in prison, Dritan Agaj is sentenced to 25 years.

The execution of Santiago Malko took place on August 27, 2019.
