Murder in Mirdita/ The victim, an employee of the basalt company in Spaç, was bombed with TNT months ago

A serious incident occurred this morning in Mirdita. At around 07:10, in the village of Shkorrët, along the Reps–Spaç road, a person was found shot dead inside the vehicle he was traveling in. The victim has been identified as Valter Lleshi, around 45 years old.

According to preliminary data, he was found without signs of life in a Toyota vehicle.

Lleshi is an employee of the basalt company in Spaç.

At this same company, in March of this year, a quantity of TNT was placed in one of the machines, but it did not explode.

Police have arrived at the scene and have launched investigations to fully clarify the circumstances of this serious incident, while the motives and perpetrators of the crime are still unknown.

"Mirdits/Preliminary information"

At around 07:10, in the village of Shkorret, Mirditë, on the Reps–Spaç road, citizen V. Ll., around 45 years old, was found in a vehicle, suspected of being killed with a gunshot wound.

Immediately after receiving the notification, the Police services went to the scene and intensive checks in the area are continuing to locate and capture the perpetrator(s).

Meanwhile, a special investigative group has been established and, under the direction of the Prosecutor's Office, is working intensively to capture and administer any evidence that will serve the investigation, with the aim of fully clarifying the event, legally documenting it, and identifying and capturing the perpetrator(s)," the police statement said.
