Leonard Marku, the husband of Nevila Pjetrit, an Albanian woman suspected of working as a prostitute in Italy who was found dead on the bed of the Parmignola River around 02:00 in the morning, has shown the latest communication with him. He said that Nevila left the house at 07:30 and told him that he would drink coffee with an Italian friend.
"I do not know what to tell you, for me my life has ended here. I can not accept that she is no more. I have been married to him for a year. She has lived in Italy for 15 years. I just tried to help her and the letters I did. We were married in the municipality. He could not enjoy the letters I wrote to him. "I will do everything to find out what happened to him," Leonard Marku told TV Klan.
Leonard describes Nevila's last day alive and the moment she left home and never returned.
"I was at home with all my girl I have from my first marriage. She, from 7:30, told me I was going out for a coffee with an Italian friend. He kissed the girl and ran away. I stayed with my dad and the oyster at home that I brought dad here because he has bad disease. He did not return. She told me she worked in campsites, these like boats namely, but I have never been. She always left alone. I have been regular here for 15 years. "I also told the state that they have me ready for anything," he said.
Did Leonard try to contact him and ask why he was being late?
"I had fallen asleep, because she would sleep with the girl that night, because on Saturday and Sunday my girl has a break from school and they slept together. When I woke up I saw that she is not at home and I directly tried to communicate by phone but she had it turned off. The moment I wanted to go to the police and report the loss, the police came to me. At the end of the investigation and the autopsy, I will do my best to bring her and bury her in Albania near her mother ", declares Leonardo Marku.
Nevila Peter had facial injuries, scratches on his arms, was half naked and covered in blood. But the killer was assured of leaving no trace at the crime scene. So far there is no sign that she has tried to defend herself. Neither her lost clothes, handbag or victim documents were found.
Investigations by Italian authorities continue to uncover who took Nevila's life and what happened at midnight on 5 June.
