The murder of the Italian businessman, Kamber Sulçaj, comes before the Gjirokastra court

Kamber Sulçaj, accused of the murder of businessman Edoardo Sarchi in Tepelena on September 27, has arrived at the Court of First Instance in Gjirokastër.

The court is surrounded under tight security measures, with 22 police officers present.

The 48-year-old wanted man surrendered to the Prosecutor's Office two days ago and it is not known whether he admitted to the murder.

"My name is Kamber Sulçaj, I am wanted by the state," he said at the Prosecutor's Office.

He also surrendered the weapon with which he allegedly committed the crime, as well as the permit he had.
