Hotel in "Don Bosko" engulfed in flames, customers and staff evacuated

A hotel in the "Don Bosko" area of ??Tirana was engulfed in flames this Friday evening, suspected to be due to an electrical fault.

Police say they rushed to the scene, evacuating guests and hotel staff, while firefighters are currently working to put out the flames. It is unclear whether the fire is large-scale.

Police Announcement:

At around 20:50, on "Don Bosko" Street, it is suspected that as a result of an electrical defect in the laundry area, a fire broke out on the first floor of a hotel.

Immediately after the notification, the Police services arrived at the scene, which evacuated the people inside the hotel, as well as the fire services, which made it possible to extinguish the fire.

The investigation team is continuing its work to fully clarify the circumstances of the case.
