The perpetrator of the macabre crime of March 2022, also known as the " Executioner of Andravida " in Greece, who massacred almost an entire Albanian family over rent and caused 4 victims, including two children, is seeking to have his life sentence lifted.
The 61-year-old has appealed the case to the Court of Appeal. He was sentenced to 4 life sentences for the gunshot murder of spouses Armando and Maria Kloci and the strangulation of two of the couple's three minor children after a dispute over non-payment of rent for their house in Andravida, Ilia.
“ Protothema ” reports that three years later he is trying to reduce his sentence in the Court of Appeals, seeking a second chance.
The perpetrator has been sentenced to life imprisonment four times, one for each life he has taken, while the house where the crime occurred remains locked up.
Chronicle of the massacre for a rent
In March 2022, a small house in Andravida, Ilia, is transformed into a horrific crime scene. Four people, an entire family, are violently exterminated at the hands of a man who was destined to be remembered by the local community and not just as the neighborhood “executioner.”
The 61-year-old man kills his two parents and drowns two of their three children, aged just two and three.
The bodies of the 32-year-old and 28-year-old were found in a trailer in the storage room of the home.
The three-year-old child was found lying on sheets on the floor of the storage room, next to the trailer, while the other child, two years old, was found dead inside the house by his 12-year-old brother, who coincidentally was not home at the time of the massacre.
The crime appeared to be premeditated, with the perpetrator intending to "erase" the traces of the murdered family, so he had begun "loading" the bodies into the trailer to transport them.
The reason for the murder, as he later claimed, was unpaid rent. The family living in the house owed him rent and he decided to pay the debt with blood.
Three years later, the house where almost the entire family was murdered remains closed. The perpetrator, who was sentenced to four life sentences, one for each human life he took, is being called to re-examine the case in the coming months by the appeals court.
The 61-year-old will try to reduce his sentence by asking for a second chance or at least a lighter sentence. According to information, the 12-year-old son of the 28-year-old mother, whom he had from a previous marriage and had escaped the hands of the executioner by chance, is growing up far from the scene of the tragedy with his father.
"Protothema" writes that the author suffered from mental problems and that he had been in a psychiatric clinic in the past.
According to relatives of the Albanian couple, Armando and Maria Kloci, he has had strong arguments with the victims recently due to financial disputes regarding the rent of the house.
