Three Albanians in London caught with 250 kg of cocaine

Three Albanian nationals have been arrested by British police in London after they were caught transporting around 250 kilograms of cocaine in a lorry. According to BBC reports, the seized drugs have a street value of £20 million.

The arrested are three Albanians in their 30s, and are expected to appear in court in the coming days.

British authorities have seized the cargo and are investigating its possible links to international trafficking networks.

London Organised Crime Partnership Officer Andy Tickner said this was one of the largest seizures in recent months.

“Without the efforts of officers to stop this shipment, that amount of drugs would have ended up on the streets of our communities, fueling addiction and leading to other serious crimes,” he said.
