They killed their father and buried him in the cowshed, the Durrës

Hysen, Amarildo and Hygerta Meta , the three children of the late Pëllumb Meta, will be tried by the Court of Durrës.

The prosecution has closed the investigations and "closed" the file against them, accusing them of several serious criminal offenses.

The two boys and girl decided in February last year to shoot their father and then, in collusion with each other, buried him in the cowshed. The body was discovered more than 10 days later.

The Durrës Prosecution Office has filed a charge of "Premeditated Murder" against Hysen, the eldest son of the Meta family. The daughter, Hygerta, is also charged with the same criminal offense, while the other son, Amarildo, is accused of "Disposal of a corpse."

We recall that the serious incident occurred on February 10. The perpetrator was the family's older brother, Hysen, who was arrested along with his other brother Amarildo Meta, the latter for complicity in the murder.

However, the daughter Hygerta Meta herself declared to the police that she was the perpetrator and that she had committed the murder because her father was very authoritarian and wanted to force her to marry, while the latter wanted to attend school.

It was one of Pëllumb Meta's sons who appeared at the Durrës Police Station on February 13th, reporting his father's disappearance. From that moment, the police of the coastal city began checking and initially found the deceased's car, parked on the Shënavlash-Parku Rinia axis, which was very far from his apartment.

The police suspected that it was related to a criminal incident and began questioning all family members, from which it was later discovered that Pëllumb Meta had been killed and buried by his children.
