A video which is going viral in the last few hours, shows some minor girls who are consuming nitrous oxide balloons. This type of substance is becoming more and more of a problem recently in the capital, where young people are consuming it without control.

In the images published by JOQ, girls in Tirana, aged no more than 14-15 years, are seen taking a "drug balloon", where one of them falls to the ground as a result of the strong substance that this type of gas contains.

The toxicologist, Alert Drishti, explained a few days ago the effects of new substances that have recently been introduced in Tirana, among them are nitrous oxide balloons.

Drishti explains that nitrous oxide is not classified as a drug, but as a compound harmful to health and damages the lungs, brain and heart. The doctor warns that this type of gas can lead to the death of the user.

According to him, gaseous substances separate oxygen from the blood and the brain is not supplied with oxygen, but with the substance that is obtained by damaging the red blood cells and the brain.
