An act of bravery and humanity was recorded yesterday afternoon at the place called "Qafa e Kosovicës" in Fier, where a serious accident could have ended in tragedy without the quick intervention of a traffic police officer.

26-year-old Klajdi Mustaj , part of the Fier Police for 18 months and only 2 months in the traffic service, was coincidentally near the scene of the incident.

A vehicle had lost control, overturned and remained stranded on the side of the road, with four people injured inside.

The situation became even more dangerous when thick smoke began to come out of the vehicle, threatening an explosion.

The accident occurred on Friday evening around 8:00 p.m.

Without thinking twice, Klajdi sprang into action. He rushed to the vehicle, helped the wounded out, picked up one of them and carried him to a safe area.

During the intervention, he himself suffered leg injuries, but he did not stop until everyone was safe.

This courageous gesture shows the true face of a police officer who does not see the uniform simply as a job, but as a mission to protect the lives of citizens.

Such actions are an inspiring example for society and a strong reason for the institution he serves to publicly appreciate him.
