The heat wave that has engulfed the country will last until the weekend, where it will reach its peak on Friday.

According to forecasters, in some areas, the temperature will reach 41 degrees in the shade.

"Albania continues to be stuck under the African heat wave as the whole Mediterranean is involved. Friday will also mark the highest temperatures of this wave" , said Lajda Porja for TV Klan.

Only after this day, the temperatures will gradually decrease, causing that after August 18 we will have a change of weather.

There will be no shortage of rainy days.

"The next week unstable rainfall in most of the territory with focus in the north and center".

The second 15 days of August will be with typical values of the month of 34-35 degrees.

"The second part of August will have temperatures towards normal values, 34-35, we will have very few days with 37 and 38 degrees".

The wind remains a problem, especially in the areas affected by the fires.
