A 47-year-old Albanian who disappeared last Sunday from his apartment after a fierce argument with his wife, has been found dead near a lake, in Ascolano, Italy.
The dead body of Lorenc Ferraj, who was employed as a truck driver, was found in Lake Gerosa, three days after he was lost.
Police received reports of his disappearance on November 1 and focused their search on Montegallo, right between the villages of Uscerno, Meschia and Propezzano, in the province of Ascoli Piceno.
The Carabinieri, Fire Brigade, Alpine Rescue and Civil Defense were mobilized for the search and rescue operation.
The help of dogs and a drone equipped with thermal cameras were also used, which "combed" the dense forests and rocks.
Just this morning, the van with the dead body of the Albanian was found near Lake Gerosa.
