Parashqevi Simaku's ex-husband, Robert Nolfe, has sent a letter to Elton Ilirjani, following the contact between them that made it possible for the singer to talk to her son.

Robert Nolfe: We were two artists trying to maintain our relationship but at one point in our marriage, after several years of trying, it wasn't working and we decided to separate as is usually the case today.

Parashqevia was saddened by the sudden death of her father and I believe that this affected her greatly. I would like to avoid too many details and ask that everyone be understanding in a family matter where there are children. But during the separation process she only took an extreme position and did not accept any proposal made by the judge. Many things have been said in the media that are not true, and in fact she was given the opportunity for visits but they were refused.

My focus throughout was on my son's well-being, and I received a lot of advice from the court appointees. At the time I was in contact with her family in Albania informing them of the situation, but I know it was equally difficult for everyone. After the divorce, like many others, we lost touch with Parashqevië. I would say that it is not easy for a man to be given custody, and I did not initially set out for it, but in the end that is what happened. This presented me with a personal challenge as a single father who worked for a period of time.

It was heartwarming to see her smile in your videos, Elton, and I believe there is a window where we can put all of this behind us and look forward. Our son is no longer a child, but a fine young man who makes his own decisions. I am happy to tell you that he agreed to speak with him and we are making sure he reconnects with her in the hope that it will be best for everyone.

I urge those who have sent threatening messages to me and my family to focus their energies on passion and appreciation, if they choose to speak in a positive light about this recently found national treasure.

I would like to personally say thank you Elton for making all of this possible.
