If there is no body, there is no victim, but the police suspect that the 34-year-old Eglant Koçi, who was kidnapped a few days ago, may have been physically eliminated. Enea Zyferi has been arrested for supporting the perpetrator, while Armand Shakaj is wanted as a suspect for holding the young man hostage. The main line of investigation is that of cryptocurrency and call center activity.

He was reported missing on Thursday, June 4, but Eglant Koçi was not found. After analyzing several video footages, the police considered the incident a criminal incident. They suspect that the 34-year-old was kidnapped and then physically eliminated.

Armand Shakaj, 41 years old, is suspected of having held Eglant Koçi hostage. But the police have not found either the body of the kidnapped person or the suspected perpetrator, who a day after the denunciation was questioned by police station no. 2 as the last person who had spoken on the phone with Eglant Koçi. But after being questioned by the police, Shakaj left.

A day after the denunciation, the police have only found the motorbike on which the young man was last seen. Meanwhile, 25-year-old Enea Zyferi was arrested for allegedly supporting the perpetrator of the crime. Enea was an employee of the suspected perpetrator, while Eglanti is alleged to have had friendly relations with Armand, who was also known by the nickname "Mand Dhelpra".

According to police sources, 34-year-old Eglant Koçi was employed by a group suspected of dealing in cryptocurrencies and call centers.

This fact is being investigated by the police as a key clue to the motives of the crime. Koçi is suspected of having around 700 thousand euros in his electronic cryptocurrency wallet for another person's account, while the last transaction that was carried out was 160 thousand euros, A2 reports.

Regarding the scene of the serious incident, the police announced that they have found and searched the premises where Eglant Koçi entered. His last traces were in the bar of 41-year-old Armand Shakaj.

Armand Shakaj then left from there, at which point he is suspected of taking the 34-year-old with him in his vehicle. Despite thorough searches, police say they were unable to find the kidnapped young man, either in the premises where he was suspected of being held hostage, or in other premises.

The investigative actions also revealed that the suspected perpetrator removed the 34-year-old's motorcycle from the place where it was initially parked.

The vehicle in which the 34-year-old was allegedly transported has been found and seized. Evidence discovered in it has classified the incident as criminal.
