Caught in the "shepherd's house", three young Albanians are imprisoned in Britain (NAMES)

Three young Albanians have been sentenced to prison by a court in Bangor, after they were caught cultivating cannabis in a rented flat.

Albanians Agron Aruci, 30, and Fabjol Mucaj, 21, were each sentenced to 22 months in prison, while another Albanian, Bedri Elezi, 36, living in Lilley Road, Liverpool, was sentenced to two years in prison.

From the plants found inside the flat, prosecutors said 25 kilograms of cannabis, worth around £88,000, could have been recovered.

The Albanians argued in court that the very difficult economic conditions had forced them to enter this path, however, the judge decided not to make concessions in the amount of punishment.
