Ilaria Sula , a 22-year-old Albanian woman, was found dead this morning.

Her body was found locked in a suitcase, at the bottom of a cliff in a wooded area in the municipality of Capranica Prenestina and not in Poli as initially reported.

Behind this macabre murder lies her former partner of Filipino origin, 23-year-old Marc Samson, who has already confessed to the crime to the authorities.

Meanwhile, it was the latter who directed the police to the place where he dumped the Albanian woman's dead body. 

Marc Samson has already confessed to the crime before authorities and has explained how he committed the macabre murder.

The 23-year-old, in his testimony to the police, stated that he stabbed Ilaria Sula several times in his apartment because he could not accept the separation from her.

He then revealed that after the murder, he put Ilaria Sula's dead body in a suitcase, which he then left at the bottom of a ravine in a wooded area.

It was the phone records that led to the raising of suspicions against Marc Samson and subsequently to his arrest.

Through their analysis, investigators were able to discover that in the days after the girl's disappearance, the 23-year-old Filipino had continued to use her phone and post from Ilaria's social media profiles.

On March 25, after she left home, someone responded to messages from the 22-year-old's cell phone.

But the friends who raised the alarm, along with their parents, apparently didn't think it was Ilaria who answered.
