A tritol explosive exploded this evening in the house of 35-year-old Ilir Koçilja in district No. 4 of the city of Durrës.
Kocilja is the person who two weeks ago killed his neighbor, 45-year-old Halil Koka, with a knife, after a fight over the parking lot.
The explosive device was thrown by an unidentified person, while no one was inside the apartment, since Kocilja is in prison and his family lives abroad.
Tritoli is suspected to have been thrown as a sign of revenge, or as a message for the murder of Koka two weeks ago, however, the police who are already at the scene are investigating to clear it up.
Ilir Kocilja reportedly suffered from mental health problems. He often quarreled with his neighbor about the place to park the car, while on the morning of February 12 he shot him to death with a knife.
There were no injuries from the tritol explosion, only material damage, while the loud noise alerted the residents.
