Tragic / A woman is found drowned in the waters of the Shkumbin River

A woman in her 40s was found drowned in the waters of the Shkumbin River.

It was the residents of the village of Krastë who immediately notified the police after they came across the dead body.

Seven firefighters and 10 police officers arrived at the scene and made it possible to remove the body.

The woman, around 40 years old, who has not yet been identified, is suspected of suffering from mental health problems.

The body has been taken to the Elbasan morgue, but no family member has yet shown interest in the drowned person.
