Journalist Anila Hoxha has revealed the reason for Gilmando Dani's trip to Spain, four days before he was executed in a mafia-style manner upon his return to Albania.

According to information from journalist Hoxha, from the investigative group, Gilmando Dani, despite his criminal past, had recently gotten engaged to an architect and was starting a new life. Preparations for the wedding were precisely the reason for his trip to Spain.

"He mainly lived in Albania, despite his numerous travels. Despite his past with precedents, there were no increased or added measures to guarantee his life."

"These are data that are being collected by the investigative group. The reason for the investigation is to prepare the wedding. He was engaged to an architect and was preparing the wedding to build a new life," said journalist Hoxha on the "Breaking" show with Dafina Hysa.
