Execution of Gilmando Dani/ Here's what the police have to say, 48 hours after the assassination attempt in Rinas

While 48 hours have passed since the mafia assassination in Rinas, the state police have no concrete leads on the authorship and causes of the event.

This is confirmed by the referral that the blue uniforms have made to the Tirana Prosecutor's Office, where the only evidence that has been submitted is the film footage.

The investigation is currently being handled by prosecutor Adriano Dyrmishi, who was available and was at the scene.

After verifying all materials, the Tirana Prosecutor's Office will assess whether to pass the file to SPAK for jurisdiction.

Meanwhile, referring to information from the investigation group, it turns out that the vehicle used by the perpetrators of the murder of Gilmando Dani and the injury of the driver (Muçi Shaljani's agent), a "Toyota", was stolen, just like the license plates in Greece.

Namely, the car was stolen in October 2023 and the license plates in October 2024.

About 15 people were questioned about the incident, in the capacity of having knowledge, while a number of other people who were not found at the relevant addresses, after being informed of the investigative group's interest in being questioned, voluntarily came forward to give statements.

For none of them, there is no evidence that they could have been implicated and were released. The condition of Shaljan, who is in the Trauma Hospital, appears to be the same and so far, despite the efforts of the doctors, has not been mentioned.
