In some of the main cities of Greece, rallies and marches are taking place for the 1st anniversary of the tragedy with 57 victims in Tempi.

A year ago, as a result of the collision of two trains in Tempi, Larissa, 57 people lost their lives, including 6 Albanian citizens.

The mother of the 20-year-old Albanian girl, Klaudia Lata , who lost her life in this tragedy, expressed her anger and sorrow for the loss of her 20-year-old daughter.

Speaking to the Greek media, she said that today is the most difficult day of her life, since Klaudia is no longer among them.

She says that three days after the tragedy, Klaudia's body was brought to her in black bags, as only her ashes remained.

"Today is the most difficult day of my life, the mourning is great, we miss him a lot. I had a hope like a mother to find him alive, but three days later they brought me in a black bag... They burned our child and gave him to us in a box of ashes."

As her voice trembled, she asked again for justice and accountability, stressing that she will fight, " so that no other mother like me cries ".

" We demand accountability. She had so many dreams and they killed her. What our children asked, to go to study. And yet in such an unjust manner they breathed their last there in the Temple ."
