The former head of the Cadastre in Gjirokastër is arrested

The former head of Gjirokastër Cadastre Florian Taçi and his former colleague Alban Memishaj have been arrested by the police.

The operation, in which the Police of Tirana, that of Gjirokastra and the Prosecutor's Office of Gjirokastra participated, comes after accusations of fraud and falsification of documents against Taçi and Memishaj.

Yesterday, the police searched Taçi's law office in Gjirokastër.

It is suspected that the former head of the Cadastre used documents related to the entire database of the Gjirokastra Cadastre while simultaneously having access to the online database.
