Another fire in Vlora, flames are spreading rapidly on Shashica Mountain

Another fire has appeared on Mount Shashica, where flames are spreading rapidly, burning large areas of pastures and vegetation.

It is suspected that the fire may have been started intentionally by local shepherds.

Earlier, a large-scale fire swept through fields in the Akërnia area of Vlora, causing concern for homes and the Vlora airport. The flames are believed to have started in the Bishan area and, favored by strong winds and dry vegetation, spread rapidly towards Akërnia.

A tent was also engulfed in flames, while thick plumes of smoke covered part of the territory and the Vlora airport.
