The first disciplinary measure was taken against a lawyer who broke the boycott of court proceedings in protest against the new judicial map.

The first to suffer is lawyer Nexhip Dauti, whose license was suspended for 3 months. This measure was taken this Wednesday by the Disciplinary Committee. Meanwhile, punitive measures are expected to be taken for 14 other lawyers.  

"The Disciplinary Commission, today on 13.06.2022 DECIDED: The suspension of the professional license of Av. Nexhip Dauti for a period of 3 months, considering the "breaking of the boycott" by this Fier House lawyer as a serious violation. Please respect the decision of DHASH, the boycott continues!", the announcement states.

We remind you that for a month the lawyers have been boycotting court proceedings due to opposition to the new judicial map, saying that this will bring harm to the citizens. They have also warned of a protest the next day in front of the Supreme Judicial Council.
