SPAK completes investigations into the "Toyota Auris" file!
Former head of the Vlora prosecutor's office, Aurel Zarka

Aurel Zarka, former head of the Vlora prosecution office, has been indicted on charges of corruption and exercising illegal influence.

Former judicial officer Erjona Daupaj is accused of corruption, influence peddling, and disclosure of secret acts, lawyer Radovan Cela is accused of corruption and influence peddling, while businessman Astrit Vladi is accused of corruption.

Special Prosecutor Klodian Braho has notified the defendants and their lawyers of the conclusion of the investigations and that they must present their arguments within 10 days.

The Toyota Auris file is related to the seizure of 3.4 million euros at the Port of Durres hidden in cars coming from Belgium.

The money is suspected to be the product of criminal drug trafficking activity.
