The scheme to extort 50,000 ALL from a person to escape prison has cost the police officer, Kastriot Palushi dearly, as well as all the leaders in Police Station No. 4.

Today, with the signature of the chief police officer, Muhamet Rrumbullaku , the exclusion from the State Police of Kastriot Palushi has been decided, while the disciplinary investigation has started for all the leaders of this Police Station.

"It should be very clearly evidenced, with a quick and professional work, all the responsibility of the management line in terms of the specific case, taking the relevant measures. The leaders of the structures are charged with direct responsibility for their actions and those of their subordinates, so I request a full verification of the case at Police Station No. 4 in Tirana", said Rrumbullaku.

The arrest of the police officer was made yesterday, with the accusation of misuse of duty and corruption.

His arrest was made possible after an investigation administered evidence and facts that the officer had used the function and attributes of the judicial police, to request and receive the monetary amount of 50,000 lek, promising to avoid criminal liability to a citizen, who a few days ago he was reported by another citizen for threats.
