In the last 24 hours, 21 fires have been registered in Albania, of which 18 have been extinguished, while 3 are active in Vlora, Berat and Fier.
In Vlora, the fire is spreading over the mountains of the village of Dhivër, with 34 firefighters, volunteer forces and air support on the ground. In Berat, near the former Mechanical Plant in Poliçan, forces are working intensively to isolate the flames. In Fier, the fire in the village of Lofkënd is spreading due to the wind, while forces are trying to stop it.
41 firefighting vehicles and 314 forces, with support from the Armed Forces, were engaged in extinguishing the fire.
According to IGJEO, no precipitation is expected today, while the highest risk of fires is in Fier.
The National Civil Protection Agency remains on standby to coordinate forces and protect citizens and property.
