Tirana Police have identified the person who punched social media personality  Genard Hajdini  and his father 4 days ago in a bar on "Bardhyl Street" in Tirana.

Thus, the investigation has begun at large for the 40-year-old Sh.G. and a 25-year-old girl with the initials AP.

Police explain that the 40-year-old is accused of intentional slight injury.

After a verbal argument at the bar with Genard Hajdini and his father, the 40-year-old punched them both.

While the 25-year-old is accused of actions that hinder the discovery of the truth.

This is because at the time of the altercation, the young woman was in the company of the 40-year-old man and during questioning by the police, she gave contradictory testimony, with the aim of saving the suspect from criminal prosecution.

"The materials were referred to the Prosecutor's Office, where proceedings were initiated at large for citizen Sh. G., 40 years old, for the criminal offense "Intentional light injury", and for citizen AP, 25 years old, for the criminal offense "Acts that hinder the discovery of the truth". From the investigations conducted, it is suspected that on 03.08.2025, in the premises of a bar on "Bardhyl" street, citizen Sh. G. punched citizens PH and GH (father and son), while citizen AP, who was with the 40-year-old at the time of the incident, gave contradictory statements, with the aim of evading criminal responsibility for citizen Sh. G.," the police statement states.

The investigation began after Genard Hajdini filed a police report. 

Genard Hajdini  and his father were raped at 1:00 AM on August 3, in a bar on "Bardhyl" Street in Tirana.

Both received medical treatment at the Trauma Hospital, and after a few hours they left.
