Crime against women seems to know no end, even when the latter have gained their own professional power. Fildeze Hafizi was a young magistrate. Respected in the work she did. The mother of two minor children, she was a judge in the first instance in Shkodër. She was shot, fatally with two bullets, at noon on August 31, 2017.
In the area of Xhamllik in Tirana. Just a few moments after she got into her 'Mercedes Benz' car, which she had initially parked below the building, where she lived with her son and infant daughter. In this case as well, as in many crimes against women, the man who took her life was her ex-husband, with whom she had two children.
Fadil Kasemi. who had waited for hours for his ex-wife, below her apartment. To choose to shoot her treacherously, the moment she was behind the wheel. This is a crime, not only forewarned, but also repetitive. After Fadil Kasemi, it was only 8 months since he got out of prison, where he was sentenced to 4 years and 6 months of imprisonment, after he tried to commit the first murder of his ex-wife in 2015.
But in the meantime he was only convicted for illegal possession of weapons and domestic violence. Concern which the now deceased judge, Fildeze Hafizi, expressed in a letter to the American ambassador accredited at that time to Albania.
Where he wrote to her that the state had abandoned her and her life was now in danger. But what makes the crime against Judge Fildeze Hafizi even more painful is the fact that she was betrayed by the justice system she belonged to and believed in.
This, after in the summer of 2015, the prosecutor's office of Tirana ignored a report of hers, where she denounced her ex-husband for threatening her with a weapon on Golem beach. Where only the intervention of her son and the vacationers prevented a possible murder.
Denunciation against the ex-husband, which the prosecuting body arbitrarily ignored. According to the Prosecutor's Office, in the decision dated April 13, 2015, Fadil Kasemi really had a pistol-type weapon that he took out of his pocket, but did not perform any further actions with it. Therefore, for this reason, according to the prosecution body, it was decided not to start the criminal proceedings. But while the Prosecutor's Office committed such an aberration, Fadil Kasemi, who was sentenced to 4 years and 6 months in prison, for the charge of "carrying weapons without a permit" and "domestic violence", but not for "attempted murder", it seems that the cell where he was, had begun to grind revenge against his ex-wife.
Revenge, which, as we said, he carried out on August 31, 2017. Just a few months after he was released from prison and benefited from amnesty, serving something less than 2 years of imprisonment.
"The incident with the lawyer, with Fildez, was barbaric, but I think there are several of them and you have proven them repeatedly on your television. A part of these murders happened unfortunately also for reasons of jealousy. Of course, jealousy is a human feeling, I'm not saying it doesn't exist, there is normal jealousy, and normal jealousy is an expression of interest, care and love, but if this jealousy becomes delusional, becomes psychopathic, continuous, unceasing, of course it generates violence and in after all, it also generates crime and we can be sure that among the women who have lost their lives, 60-70%, if not more than that, only for reasons of jealousy", says Gëzim Tushi, sociologist. / "Në Shënjestre" show
